Civics- Took Benchmark #1 today and handed in the State and Local Government Project with rubric attached. Period 1 scored a 77%. In 2 weeks on Oct 28 you will hand in the analysis of the difference in news reports between Fox news and MSNBC. In bullet form, list the top stories and note the spin each station places on the story.  www.foxnews.com and www.msnbc.com  for show listings. US History- we took notes on monopolies, trusts, and workplace safety. Then we completed a worksheet to use as notes for a short 19 question quiz. The rest of the benchmark will take place on Tuesday.
