Civics- We finished our campaigns and elected a new class President and filled out the electoral map. Jeff was elected for the 1st period class with over 320 electoral votes. Congrats! 4th period will do the same today. We also took brief  notes on lobbyists. THE TEST ON POLITICAL PARTIES AND CAMPAIGNS IS TOMORROW. ******possible mini-essay question on the Electoral College!


US History- we took notes on WEB DuBois and Booker T. Washington with a focus on segregation in America. We read an excerpt from the book The Jungle by Upton Sinclair which exposed the meat-packing industry. Students began to draw Teddy  Roosevelt as a collage.
